Birmingham St Mary's Hospice are asking local residents to bust their best moves when their 'Let's Danceathon' makes its return next month.
The event, which will take place in Kings Heath on Saturday 3rd March, will allow dance enthusiasts of all abilities to get their groove on, in order to help raise vital funds for the charity.
Experts will be on hand to lead dancers through six different styles of dance for six continuous hours – with genres ranging from BollyTone, to Clubbercise, to Freestyle.
The event is the second Let's Danceathon to be hosted by Birmingham St Mary's.
Last year's event raised over £23,000 for the hospice, which provides vital care and support to local families living with terminal illness.
Birmingham St Mary's events manager Lucy Watkins, said: 'Let's Danceathon is a really lively and energetic event in which participants of all abilities are welcome – whether you're a complete beginner or a dancing queen.
'We've got a great mix of different dances to suit everyone, so it's a fun way to get active, experiment with new styles and find a dance you love.'
Each day, Birmingham St Mary's Hospice supports 350 individuals across Birmingham and Sandwell – but this level of care comes at a high price.
'It costs £8million to run our crucial services every year,' explains Lucy Watkins.
'So, we truly rely on the generous support of local people to ensure we can continue to provide the best hospice care to individuals, their families, loved ones and carers, wherever and whenever they need it.'
The Danceathon will take place from 3.30pm-11pm at King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys.
With last year's event quickly selling out to it's 200 participants, don't miss the chance to grab your Early Bird tickets from just £10! Tickets can be booked here.
